Italian Society of Forensic Clinical Psychology

The Italian Society of Forensic Clinical Psychology (Società Italiana di Psicologia Clinica Forense − S.I.P.C.F.) was born on the initiative of its Founder, with the aim of enhancing the stable relationship between Psychology and Law. Psychology has already turned into an essential discipline in the forensic field, especially in consideration of the multiple expressions and different contexts in which it operates nowadays.
On the base of its Founder’s experience, concerned about cultural change, the objective is to disclose and strengthen, through the promotion of studies, research, publications, scientific events, information and educational courses, a new way to conceptualize and integrate knowledge in the fields of Psychology and Law.

The addition of the aforementioned Association in the Bottari Law Firm depends on the originary location of the head office of this prestigious Company – which includes among the business partners, and sometimes lecturers, even the same Attorney Mr. Salvatore Bottari – and perfectly matched with the Owner of the Firm’s interest in the criminal psychology subject, ongoing almost thirty years, since the degree dissertation, defended during the academic year 1993/1994, entitled “Psicologia della testimonianza e problemi della ricognizione” (Deposition Psychology and the problems of the reconnaissance).
